My conservation photography and environmental writing are inextricably linked.  My ultimate aim is to connect you with the wonders of the natural world with my photography whilst informing you of the pressures that it faces through my writing.       

 

People sometimes ask me what part of the environment interests me.  I can truly say I am very passionate about it all and have been since a very young child.  I simply couldn't dedicate my working life to something that didn't drive me in this way.  

 

However, I am particularly interested in the illegal wildlife trade, marine exploitation, corporate and political power, consumerism, animal welfare, population issues, rights and responsibilities and discourses that inhibit or promote action.  Hope you enjoy my articles.
